graduand

BRITISH
a person who is about to receive an academic degree.
“the ceremony starts with the presentation of one or more honorary graduands”
From July 1 2015 until 3:00 p.m. on 15 September 2015, I am a graduand. I am less than twenty four hours away from becoming Melissa Holden, BA Hons instead of just plain-old-Mel.
graduate
noun
ˈɡradʒʊət,-djʊət/
a person who has successfully completed a course of study or training, especially a person who has been awarded an undergraduate or first academic degree.
Not sure how ready I am to be a graduate…and an adult… and a responsible human being… and a non-student.
